Water for Rivers has been established by three member Governments (New South Wales, Victoria and the Commonwealth), to recover 282 gigalitres of water for the Snowy and Murray Rivers. This volume of water savings will be achieved through investment in water efficiency infrastructure projects, innovation and technology and where appropriate, by acquisition of water entitlements.
